ADVENTEA day 24

Mulled Spice
There's nothing quite like the excitement of Christmas drawing near.  Cupboards fill up with mysterious once-a-year treats, wafts of cinnamon, orange peel and cloves start to fill the air.  These special aromas go wonderfully well with tea.
This tea has lovingly combined malty full-bodied black tea from Assam with some special Christmas flavours, to create a perfect blend for a cold winter afternoon.
Enjoy a pot with the family and a mince pie... or two!

Brewing Tips:
Use boiling water
Let it draw for 3 to 5 minutes (or to your taste) to release all of the flavour
Best with a good splash of milk and a little sugar to bring out the lovely spicy flavours

ADVENTEA day 22

Rooibos, Strawberry and Vanilla
Everything's better when the sun's shining. This blended tea has the taste of three special ingredients which only grow when it's sunny: rooibos, creamy rich vanilla, and the juiciest, reddest strawberries.
Together, they make a russet-red infusion with a delicate, soothing taste. It's glowing with the memory of sunnier days.

Brewing Tips:
Use boiling water
Let it draw for 3 to 5 minutes (or to your taste) to release all of the flavour
All infusions are drunk without milk ... but you can add a splash of milk to this one - a great "normal" tea replacement!

Darjeeling in North East India isn't easy to get to. Even the famous antique toy-train has to wind its way carefully through valleys and round mountains. ADVENTEA day 9

White Tea and Pomegranate
Did you know that in ancient Persia, the pomegranate was hailed as a symbol of life and rebirth? This tea has blended its flavour with white tea to create a light infusion that's a natural source of antioxidants. The tangy taste of pomegranate is the perfect companion for the silky, delicate taste of white tea. Just the thing if you're in need of a gentle pick-me-up.
White tea is so called because of the fine white or silvery hairs of new growth on the unopened tea buds.

Brewing Tips:
Use boiling water
Let it draw for 1 to 2 minutes (or to your taste) to release all of the flavour
Always without milk – delicious on its natural state

ADVENTEA day 5

Ceylon Breakfast
Back in the 1860s, when Sri Lanka was called Ceylon, the island's economy was in crisis. The coffee crop had failed, and there was only one thing for it: to grow tea instead. But no one could have imagined how light or fresh that tea would be.
After one sip of the amber liquid, the islanders' thirst was quenched. And coffee was forgotten forever. This Ceylon breakfast is blended especially for breakfast to be a lighter blend to start your day!

Brewing Tips:
Use boiling water
Let it draw for 3 to 5 minutes (or to your taste) to release all of the flavour
Very versatile - great with or without a touch of milk
A light citrus character means it's perfect cooled and iced!

Cherry and Cinnamon
We should thank the Romans for this tea. Back in the first century AD they brought cherries to Britain, starting a love for the little red fruit that would continue through the ages. This tea has paired the sweet, sharp flavour of cherries with the spicy flavour of cinnamon.
The result is a rich, deep-red infusion that even the Romans would have been proud of.
